Pocket AM FM Radio with Best Reception, Battery Operated Portable Radio for Home, Travel and Emergency Use

Pocket AM FM Radio: A Compact, Battery-Powered Companion with Superb Signal Pickup for Home, Journeys and Emergency Readiness

Keep up with local news and music while saving your phone's battery. Enjoy breakfast shows on the way to work, hear storm warnings as they come in, or follow a match at the campsite. No more buffering or lost signal at the very moment something important is announced.

The radio scans the AM and FM bands automatically and can store up to 99 stations in total. Plug in the headphones, which serve as the antenna, to receive signals. Use the buttons to change band, adjust the volume or jump straight to saved stations.

A digital chip tunes into stations cleanly and keeps them steady with no static. Insert a memory card of up to 32 gigabytes to play your own music files in between broadcasts. The backlit screen displays the time in either 12 or 24 hour format.

Choose a timer setting between 10 and 120 minutes, and the radio turns itself off as you drift to sleep. Its rechargeable battery easily handles lengthy listening and displays the remaining charge. Lock the buttons so nothing gets changed by accident when the radio is carried in a bag or pocket.

• AM FM DUAL BAND RECEPTION: Covers AM from 520 to 1710 kilohertz plus FM from 87 to 108 megahertz, giving you full coverage of both bands.

• 99 STATION MEMORY STORAGE: Keeps your preferred channels stored separately for each band, so your favourite stations are always one press away.

• AUTOMATIC STATION SCANNING: Sweeps through the frequencies and settles on clear signals, so you need not tune by hand through static-filled gaps between broadcasts.

• 32 GIGABYTE CARD SUPPORT: Plays MP3 and WMA music files from a memory card whenever you would rather hear your own playlists than radio programmes.

• PROGRAMMABLE SLEEP TIMER: Powers off automatically after 10 to 120 minutes to conserve battery while you doze off to late-night shows.

• 500 MILLIAMP HOUR BATTERY: Charges via the micro USB port and offers hours of continuous listening per charge, with a level indicator.

• HEADPHONE ANTENNA SYSTEM: The included earbuds act as the signal receiver, delivering strong, clear reception and private listening with no need for external speakers.

• BUTTON LOCK FUNCTION: Stops stations or volume from being altered accidentally while the radio shifts about during outings or activities.
