MEET TARPIPRO

Common Questions

What level of UV protection does TarpiPro offer?

With a 90% UV block, TarpiPro greatly reduces harsh sun glare and cools the patio, pergola or garden area underneath by several degrees.

Will rain collect in pools on the fabric?

No. The knitted fabric is premium and breathable, so moisture and rain seep gently through instead of pooling on top, which prevents sagging and water strain.

What is the way to fix the shade cloth in position?

Durable, rust-resistant metal eyelets run along the borders of the cloth. Use the included ropes or standard cable ties to attach it easily to pergolas, hooks or posts.

Can it cope with strong summer winds?

Yes. The highly breathable fabric lets heavy winds pass through easily, so your fixings are not put under massive structural tension, unlike with solid plastic tarps.

Can it be left outdoors throughout the summer?

TarpiPro is crafted from UV-stabilised material that stands up to fading, rot, mildew and solar degradation by nature, making it ideal for standard outdoor use all summer long.

How do I clean my TarpiPro cloth?

Cleaning is very easy. Simply rinse the fabric with an ordinary garden hose and let it dry naturally in the air. No scrubbing is required.

Will it cut out all light, or only ultraviolet?

Of the harmful UV rays, 90% are blocked, while soft, natural, diffused light still passes through, keeping the shaded area bright, pleasant and very practical to use.

Is a professional needed to put it up?

You do not need an expert. With its lightweight design and the eyelets already fitted at the corners, it is a simple do-it-yourself job that you can complete in under 10 minutes.
