Heated cycling gloves for chilly, blustery rides
The ALLROUND heated cycling gloves suit cyclists who want warm hands in cold, blustery weather without resorting to thick, bulky winter gloves. Their flexible, fairly lightweight construction gives excellent freedom of movement, a firm hold on the bars, and sufficient finger dexterity to brake and shift gears comfortably.
These heated gloves for cycling work well for day-to-day riding, road cycling and mountain biking. They also serve nicely for walks and other outdoor pursuits when the weather turns cold.
You will feel the heat in roughly 30 seconds. The heating elements cover the back of the hand and run along the top of each finger right to the tips.
Comfort, freedom of movement and a secure grip
The ALLROUND is made of flexible 50D softshell and includes 80 g of 3M Thinsulate insulation. As a result, these heated bike gloves stay flexible and fairly slim, yet still protect well against the cold.
The palm and fingers have silicone anti-slip material for extra traction on the bars and better control when you brake and change gear. That makes the gloves suitable for relaxed daily rides as well as more demanding cycling.
A slightly longer cuff sits snugly around the wrist and helps to block draughts.
The thumb and index finger are touchscreen-compatible, so you can use your smartphone without taking the gloves off.
Protection against cold, wind and moisture
On a bike, wind chill makes hands go cold especially quickly. For this reason, the ALLROUND has a breathable TPU membrane that has been tested as waterproof beyond 10,000 mm and has a breathability of 7,604 g/m²/24 h.
The battery compartment is closed with a waterproof zip, so the battery stays safely in place throughout your ride.
3 heat levels and real-world battery life
We deliberately give runtime figures that better match how heated bicycle gloves are used in cold weather. The actual runtime depends on the heat setting you choose, the outside temperature and how you use the gloves. In favourable test conditions, the maximum may be higher.
Going on a long ride? A spare set of fully charged batteries lets you keep the gloves running for longer.
Specifications
The lithium-ion batteries can be discharged at temperatures as low as -20 °C. In the cold, the capacity available drops, as is normal with lithium-ion batteries.
