How difficult is it to set up?

Setting up is very easy. Clip the red clamp onto the positive terminal and the black clamp onto the negative, then connect the unit to a normal UK household socket. The 7-stage microprocessor senses the battery voltage by itself and starts the ideal charging cycle, with no manual input needed.

How does REPAIR mode work?

Pulse Repair is a special high-frequency recovery cycle meant for sulfated batteries or those left idle for a long period. It helps break down lead-sulphate crystals, restoring capacity and boosting cranking power, which could spare you the cost of a new battery.

Is it suitable for lithium batteries?

Yes. JoltNapo works fully with modern LiFePO4 lithium batteries as well as every lead-acid type, such as AGM, GEL, SLA and EFB. It is safe to use on everything from a modern SUV to a seasonal motorbike or a lawnmower.

Is it safe to leave connected throughout winter?

Yes. An onboard temperature compensation sensor reads the surrounding temperature and alters the charging voltage on its own. That stops overcharging when summer is hot and gives a full, deep charge through freezing British winters.

Which safety features does it have?

Every component has been designed with safety in mind. Six levels of protection cover overheating, short circuits, reversed polarity, overcurrent, overvoltage and low voltage. The unit is also spark-proof, so you can use it safely even if car maintenance makes you nervous.

What is the difference between 2A and 15A modes?

Fast 15A charging is intended for bigger batteries such as those in trucks and SUVs, or for when you want a rapid boost. The 2A trickle mode suits smaller motorbike batteries and the long-term upkeep of seasonal vehicles, so they are always ready to start.
